On the brink of elimination, the Carolina Hurricanes got a potentially season saving save from a diving Jordan Martinook.

Rangers forward Ryan Lindgren had a clear breakaway and slipped the puck through Frederik Andersen's five hole, but as the puck slid towards the goal line, Jordan Martinook came diving head first to make the save.

Just as the puck was reaching the red goal line, Martinook arrived just in time with a fully extended stick to pull it off the goal line. Martinook crashed head first into the net, and thankfully was okay.

The play came just after the Rangers cut into the Hurricanes 2 goal lead, and this diving stop from Martinook gave a burst of momentum back to Carolina.

With the Hurricanes season riding on the outcome of this game, a clutch play like this from Jordan Martinook is simply incredible to see. So far it may be the most clutch save of this year's playoffs!
