Tonight the Maple Leafs lost once again to the Boston Bruins, now trailing the series 3-1. For the Maple Leafs, it now marks almost 8 years of playoff failure for the team, and the team finally exploded in an argument today.

In the bench, it appeared Auston Matthews and William Nylander called out Mitch Marner for his poor play in this series. Marner seemed to protest, turning his gloves upside down, the tossing off his gloves while pouting on the bench.

It appears that William Nylander actually says to Marner: «Stop F*****g crying bro. This isn't f*****g junior hockey.»

For years and years, the Leafs have only proven themselves to be chokers when games matter most in the playoffs - with Mitch Marner being the worst offender. Matthews and Nylander have found their games as leaders and elite talents, but every playoffs, Mitch Marner loses the ability to play hockey. Everything possible has been accounted for, it just seeems like he is too mentally immature to succeed in the playoffs.

Assuming the Leafs don't make history with an unbelievable comeback win against the Bruins for the series, sweeping changes are likely coming for the Leafs. After another playoff failure even worse than last year, President Brendan Shanahan won't be safe, head coach Sheldon Keefe is likely already fired in virtue, and Mitch Marner is looking like he's played his last game in Toronto.
