The NHL Draft combine is currently underway, and teams are still trying to get to know the prospects better - by asking questions about their social media.

Columbus Blue Jackets reporter Mark Scheig has revealed that prospects are saying one unspecified team is asking questions about their Snapchat scores and Uber ratings.
It's strangely personal yet arbitrary details to ask from a young hockey player. The team may be looking to gleam a little more into the personality and behaviour of these young players, but it's also personal information. Not to mention, in reality, your Snapchat score or Uber rating would have no correlation with ability to play hockey.
Right away, plenty of fans drew comparisons to Mike Babcock's firing this season. Before the Blue Jackets even played a game, Mike Babcock was fired for asking to go through players' camera rolls on their phone which reportedly made several players uncomfortable.
Hockey still has an older culture where teams like to understand and control each aspect of players' lives, but in the modern era, more players are pushing back for their personal privacy - rightfully so.
Every year at the draft, it always seems to come out that at least one team asked a ridiculous question, and this one will take the cake for this year. As time goes on and the old guard changes out in hockey, maybe these questions will phase out as well.
