After battling his injuries, Dylan Holloway has been working his way towards returning to the Oilers lineup. As he works with the Bakersfield Condors, he and his fellow teammates shows love and respect towards teammate Alex Peters who's sister Britt is fighting cancer.

As part of the team ritual, they like many teams hand the token of recognition for effort and Peters received the hard hat. It was clear after Holloway handed the hardhat to Peters his emotions overwhelmed him as he recognized his teammates are behind him and his family.

Peters had a great game when he opened the scoring on the power play. The 6'4» 220Lbs defenceman has played 17 games, scored 3 goals with 4 assists for 7 points and has 26 penalty minutes.

The Condors season has not gone as well as they'd hoped as through 28 games they have a record of 15-10-1-2 with 33 points. On the flip side in their past 10 they've had a record of 7-1-1-1.

With the Oilers heading towards a very tough schedule starting in the month of February, it's expected more condors will be called up as reinforcements as the team will need all the help they can get.
