Connor McDavid reveals where he wants to play the rest of his career
Last night, Connor McDavid had an incredible performance in his 600th career game at home in Edmonton. McDavid dominated all aspects of the ice and recorded an incredible 5 point night, leading the Oilers to a commanding 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.
McDavid's 5 point night also carried him over the incredible threshold of 900 points in his career, becoming the fifth fastest player to reach that mark in NHL history. He's truly a generational talent on his way to one of the best careers in hockey, and in an interview after the game, McDavid shared where he'd like to continue playing the rest of his career.
When asked how special his accomplishments were to achieve in an Oilers jersey, McDavid said he hopes there's a lot more to come while playing for the city of Edmonton.
Coming straight from McDavid himself, it seems like Oilers fans won't have to worry about their captain even thinking of leaving the team. McDavid seems truly all-in with his passion for the Oilers and his mission to win the Stanley Cup with them.
