Evander Kane Makes Edmonton Oilers History With Unreal Performance
Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane had a memorable night on the ice today, as he recorded his 6th career hat trick in a 6-4 victory over the Seattle Kraken.
Kane opened the scoring for the Oilers in the first period with a goal in the first period just 1:35 minutes in. He then added two more goals to complete the hat trick.
Kane's performance was a key factor in the Oilers' dominant win over the Kraken, as the team looks to solidify their position in the highly competitive Pacific Division. The 31-year-old forward has been a reliable offensive contributor for the Oilers since joining the team in a trade from the San Jose Sharks in 2020, and his experience and scoring ability will be crucial for the team as they make a push towards the playoffs.
Kane's hat trick also marked a personal milestone for the player, as he became the first Oiler to score a hat trick against an expansion team in the franchise's history. It was a memorable night for Kane and the Oilers, and one that fans will surely remember for some time to come.
