Evander Reveals Why Be Chose to Play For Edmonton.
Evander Kane is recognized as a bold and confident force in the NHL, possessing both the ability to score and play as a power forward.
After being released from San Jose, six teams expressed interest in acquiring Kane's talents. However, only one team pursued him, leading to the question of why he ultimately chose Edmonton.
During a recent interview, Kane spoke about his decision to join the Edmonton team. He noted that playing alongside Connor McDavid was a major factor in his choice. McDavid is widely regarded as the top player in the NHL at present, and Kane was eager to be a part of his winning team.
Kane's recent short documentary with Sportsnet:
«I had about 5 or 6 teams calling, I chose Edmonton for a reason. «
Reporter: why Edmonton?
«Uhh an opportunity to play with Connor, to experience playoff hockey, I thought with the way I play hockey I can bring exactly what they needed. And I think everybody was right».
Woodcroft's winning culture and Holland's team-building skills have made Edmonton an attractive destination for players, leading them to choose the Oilers over other Canadian markets. The acquisition of Evander Kane has proven to be a great move for the team, as they now benefit from his impressive abilities on the ice.
