The story of the Seattle Kraken has been fascinating over the past two seasons since their adoption into the NHL. Many fans and pundits throughout the league ridiculed President and general manager Ron Francis for how he conducted the team and how he built the roster.

Many felt that the team would never be a playoff team for at least many years as its predecessor, the Vegas Golden Knights went a very different route and became a playoff and Stanley Cup final sensation in its first year in operations.

The script, however, has changed for the crack and now they are in the second round of the playoffs in their second year. One such player that has been cracking timely goals to help their cause is former Oilers forward Jordan Eberle.

Eberle has become a factor in these playoffs and a key member of the Kraken lineup as they take on the Dallas Stars and are tied for one game-piece in their series.

Eberle spent seven seasons with the Oilers and was part of the pre-McDavid core. He was moved then to the Islanders and then was selected by the Seattle Kraken in their expansion draft where he has given them two 20-plus goal seasons.
