NHL player responds to allegations he cheated on pop star girlfriend
20 year old Cole Sillinger of the Columbus Blue Jackets has been taking a lot of gear online recently, but it isn't for his play on the ice. Now, Sillinger is fighting back.
Over the last summer, his now ex-girlfriend and Canadian Pop Star Tate McRae confirmed publicly that Sillinger had been cheating on her. This led to the couple's breakup, and McRae has since gone on to become a star and be prominently featured in the NHL All Star game.
On an Instagram post laying out the details of Sillinger cheating on McRae and leading to their breakup, Sillinger himself responded with a comment simply saying «All false my guy.»
It's unlikely the Sillinger is disputing anything else other than the cheating allegations with this post, unless he's saying that McRae is in his league.
McRae is set to headline the All-Star Game with a musical performance tonight, likely including her hit song Greedy. One thing is for sure, McRae really did manage to make the NHL all star game before Sillinger - that's gotta sting for him for sure.
