Oilers targeting Golden Knights star ailing back according to Sportsnet
A bad back can be one of the most debilitating injuries anyone can suffer from. The pain will come in waves and comes out of nowhere especially if the person tweaks or twists the wrong way suddenly. When it hits, there's hardly anything you can do to stop the pain aside from rest and giving the muscles a break.
This, all goes for pro sports including hockey which a bad back can finish someone's career. Oiler's reporter Mark Spector reports why the Oilers are targeting Mark Stone's lower back. Stone has had a debilitating back for many years now and is going through discomfort.
Oilers players are taking small little jabs and cross-checking just to remind Stone about his beleaguered injury. This report also made waves during the intermission of Sportsnet where the panel discussed whether it was right or wrong for the video to be published about Stone's health problems.
Whether it's right or wrong, this is the playoffs. It's how teams gain the upper hand on their opponents, especially if their star players suffer from injuries like this. I feel this will continue, we will need to see how to Mark Stone can handle this pain.
