Slovakian Player Blows a Kiss to the Canadian Crowd and Instantly Regrets it
It was not a easy� for Team Canada as they faced Team Slovakia in the quarterfinals last night. The big question going into this game was whether Connor Bedard would surpass the all-time points record for Canada.
Bedard delivered by scoring the game's first goal. A goal by Dylan Guenther gave Canada a 2-0 advantage later on. The n future New Jersey Devils player Simon Nemec scored on the power play, unexpectedly, Nemec would make a bold move by blowing a kiss to the Canadian fans.
The Slovakian player would instantly regret his decision as Canada would score the next goal to make it 3-1.
And to put the cherry on top, Connor Bedard would score the overtime winner to send the Slovaks packing, right in front of Simon Nemec, who blew a kiss to the Canadian crowd earlier in the game.
Sadly Bedard didn't blow him a kiss, but had an awesome celebration regardless, check it out:
