Former Edmonton Oiler, Steve Staios, is looking like a very likely candidate to become the next Oilers' General Manager.
Once Ken Holland's contract expires, which will come after the 2023-24 season, it looks like the Oilers' will pursue bringing in Steve Staios.
Frank Seravalli added that he wouldn't be shocked if Ken Holland, is promoted to President of Hockey Operations and Steve Staios, is promoted to general manager.
Steve Staios, currently serves as a special advisor to the Edmonton Oilers hockey operations staff with a focus on player development.
