When Oilers superstar forward Connor McDavid entered this season, he was on a mission. Having been shut out last season of the Rocket Richard and the Hart trophy, which was awarded to Toronto Maple Leafs superstar Auston Matthews, McDavid felt the need to put on a show.

The 26-year-old centre has been nothing short of a magician and an incredible player to watch yet again. When the Oilers faced the Arizona Coyotes, McDavid decided to put a goal into the net from a very different angle.

it's not too common to say that you put a goal in the net off the back of someone's helmet but he's done just that.

The stats dump that he provides is just incredible. He's played 71 games and has scored 59 goals with 78 assists for 137 points. He is a + 16, with 20 power-play goals and 61 power-play points with nine game-winning goals. He also holds 30 penalty minutes.

At the current pace, he's at he's well on his way to passing the 150-point mark this season. The Oilers hope that this incredible season will continue into the postseason and that the Oilers will have a long playoff for the Stanley Cup.
