Brandon Duhaime got Fleury with a classic prank: fully wrapping his car with toilet paper.
In a video shared by Michael Russo from the Athletic, it looked like Fleury's entire pickup truck had been covered in an actual case of toilet paper. Duhaime didn't take immediate credit for the prank, but the two players had a clear prank battle going on. When Duhaime was still with Minnesota, Fleury apparently pranked Duhaime with his shoes, and later took some chirps in the media for being old and had to practice with a cane.
At 39 years old, it's awesome to see Fleury still connecting with much younger players and still being one of the most vibrant personalities in the league.
The end of this season may mark the end of Fleury's career, and hockey will sorely miss him if this is it. Fleury will be a first ballot hall of famer, with his accolades including three Stanley Cups, one Vezina trophy, and only one of three goaltenders ever to play 1000 games or more. Just a few weeks ago, news broke that if Marc-Andre Fleury doesn't receive a contract offer from the Wild this offseason, he will retire. Given that the Wild have two and upcoming goalies in Filip Gustavsson and Jesper Wallstedt, it looks this year will be the last for the legendary Marc-Andre Fleury.
