has achieved everything in the game of hockey, and he's still trying to learn from Connor McDavid on Team Canada.

Earlier this year Crosby backed Connor McDavid's actions surrounding missed calls and his for checking Connor Garland, and now the Penguins captain is showing more respect to the younger star.

Sidney Crosby says he's still trying to learn from his teammate Connor McDavid

The 37 year old Sidney Crosby seems like to the last person to learn from another player. With 1327 NHL games, 1654 points, 3 Stanley Cups, multiple Hart trophies and gold medals - Crosby's achieved it all.
In this year's 4 Nations Faceoff as one of the older players in the tournament, Crosby has had dominant performances and has 5 points in 3 games.
And still, Crosby is striving to get better and pick up on the skills of his teammates around him on Team Canada.
In a new interview today, Crosby specifically named McDavid as a player he was trying to learn from. They were seen in practice earlier having a private chat on the ice.
"I don't know if I've really thought about it. I mean, I just look at it as a teammate and somebody that's obviously a really special, special player, and just being able to to be on the ice with someone like him, try to learn, try to see what makes him successful, but at the same time get to know him.

Earlier today too, McDavid said he had much to learn from Crosby. While the older superstar could maybe pick up some puck skills, McDavid should be learning the leadership aspects from Crosby.
He's got a very calming presence about him. He's played in all these big games. Olympic gold medals. Game 7's. Cup Finals. Whatever it is, he's played there, been there and done that. And been successful in doing that. A guy like that, you can learn a lot from.

- Connor McDavid

Ideally for Oilers fans, Connor McDavid will come out of this tournament an even better player than he was before. Perhaps, he picks up some valuable winning experience to motivate him and the Oilers even more for a trip back to the Stanley Cup Final.
