Smith Entertainment Group has revealed the new Utah hockey club jersey as the organization scrambles to have a team ready for the start of the season.

Utah owner Ryan Smith and his team have chosen a simple jersey that will be the interim jersey until the team has formally selected a new name and their new logo. They also revealed the shocking timeline when this jersey will be available for purchase which will be until January 2025 according to Utah's head coach Andre Tourigny.

This timeline along with the current state of the Delta Center in Salt Lake City shows how quick this entire process unfolded as it's just been under three months since the sale of the now defunct Arizona Coyotes was made to Ryan Smith and his ownership group.

The work needed is quite remarkable as the Delta Center will require significant renovations to accommodate an NHL rink while having seating that can reach the ice level especially at the end where the goaltenders stand. There's also the matter of building their fan base and promoting the team to the state of Utah as this is the first NHL franchise in the states history.

But hats off to the ownership group, they're doing their best to try to make this work as relocation fell onto their lap.
