Jason Gregor debates who will be the captain for Canada's in 4 Nations Faceoff
In his recent episode of the Jason Gregor show, Gregor reveals who he would choose as the captain of Canada's Four Nations tournament who would be Oilers superstar Connor McDavid.
As he tries to answer the question, he toys between Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby who has been the captain of Canadian teams for many years and now the best player in the NHL of McDavid. Does Canada choose Crosby do to his veteran presence an being the face of Canada or do they choose Connor McDavid who is the new face of hockey for the past several years and the best player on the planet?
It's certainly a question that will be wrangled with Canada's brain trust for this tournament but in the end, I agree with Gregor where both players will not really care on who will be the captain of the team as both men will be part of the leadership group.
This tournament is a new tournament that was devised by the NHL as a way for the league to display hockey for multiple countries and it will be held in Montreal and in Boston.
The faceoff between Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States will take place on February 12th through 20th 2025.
