Leon Draisaitl and Edmonton Oilers Create Hilarious Custom Shirts to Celebrate McDavid Milestone

McDavid was asked in the post game media scrum about the picture and the shirt that was made to which McDavid looked less impressed about his friend's idea while still having a good laugh about it with the reporters.

Earlier, the media approached Draisaitl about the shirts and he was quite descriptive and open to how they came together. He mentioned that he was not the maker himself and was the photo taker but their equipment manager was the one who took it on. He gave a great review of the goal and had great respect for his friend as he was happy to be a part of it.

McDavid continues to show his love for the Oilers and the Oilers fanbase as he was quite emotional on this special night. He spoke to the crowd after the game the emotion was filling his eyes.

Many pundits were curious to know how long it would take McDavid to pass the 1000 point mark this season. Even with the Oilers working on their issues of consistency, McDavid does what he does best which is produce points. In 14 games played, he has scored six goals, 13 assists for 19 points and is a +6.

He continues to be the icon he will become as received all three stars as he also was the 4th fastest player to reach 1000 points in NHL history.

The Oilers will now start their Eastern Canadian Road trip as they will face off against the Maple Leafs on November 15th and game time will be 7:00pm eastern.
