The Bruins took on the Panthers last night in a hard fought battle for first place that the Bruins won 6-5.
During the game, Matthew Tkachuk attempted to land a hip check on Parker Wotherspoon but approached the Bruins D with his right foot in the air.
It was not necessarily an obvious kick, Tkachuk went into Wotherspoon with his right foot pointed towards the Bruins blueliner which has caused a lot of speculation online.
Did Tkachuk really try kicking him? Jeeeeesh
The play started a scrum in front of the Bruins bench after some of the Bruins players were not too pleased with Tkachuk's actions. Whether or not he meant to try and kick Wotherspoon, Tkachuk learned his lesson after taking quite a few hits once he was on the ground.
While the intent to injure may not be obvious, many fans have been questioning the play since this is not the first time Tkachuk has made a questionable move on the ice.
