Embarrassing Scene in Toronto Last Night as The Team is Booed off The Ice
In an unexpected turn of events, the strong Toronto Maple Leafs had a really bad game that left their loyal fans feeling sad, during their first game back at home after a long road trip.
Playing against the LA Kings, the Leafs struggled, only scoring once while giving up four goals, leading to a big loss. Their best players didn't play well, and the goalies didn't do a good job.
Commentator Steve Dangle didn't hold back when talking about the game:
"The Leafs have generally played well this season, even when they've lost. But this game was different; it lacked teamwork and purpose. It was a bad display, and I'm sorry to the fans in the arena who had to see it."
As the clock ran down in the second period, the fans in the arena got more and more upset, and they booed as the Leafs were losing 3-0.
The boos in the arena were not what you'd expect on Halloween.
With the Leafs' best players not playing well, this might be a tough season for the fans. The real scary part on Halloween was the bad performance by the team, leaving the fans wanting better days.
