With how many infractions we seem to be seeing in the NHL, it seems like there has also been an increase in excessive cases of violence in other leagues. Hockey seems to be growing into less of a physical game, which can result in an increase in infractions from players. Today's case however is an awful looking infraction in the most surprising league it could have happened in.

This happened in an Alberta senior league, which is unbelievable to imagine happening. It's no secret that hockey games can boil over every once in a while, but that's why most leagues allow contact. Seniors leagues play no contact for obvious reasons, and it's crazy to think that someone who is this old would do something so obviously stupid. You can hear the crowd screaming at him over the slash and the teammates yelling at the man.

Hilariously, this is almost reminiscent of the Pietrangelo slash on Leon Draisaitl. If this grandpa were playing in the NHL this act would only be a 1 game suspension, so hopefully the seniors league actually takes this offence seriously.
