With the season nearly finished, most NHL teams are trying to tinker and experiment with their lineups to get the right mix for the upcoming NHL playoffs.

Some teams have been experimenting with 11 forwards and seven defensemen as many defensemen were traded during the trade deadline, leaving some teams with a glut of players.

Tonight against the Dallas Stars, the Oilers tried the 11/7 method and mentioned that Oilers forward Zach Hyman and Ryan McLeod were not in the lineup tonight.

This meant that Phillip Broberg was brought back into the lineup to face the Stars. Currently, there is no mention of what is ailing Zach Hyman. he's currently missed two games and has no word on when he will return.

For 6'1» left winger has played 66 games, and has scored 29 goals with 43 assists for 72 points in is a + 12. He holds 22 power-play points. This season has been his breakout season as he has eclipsed all his stats.

With his $5.7 million cap hit going into his third season with the Oilers next year, the Oilers are expecting him to continue this pace and maybe eclipse it.

The Oilers will be on the road for their next game against the Seattle Kraken, on Saturday, March 18th and game time will begin at 4:00 PM eastern.
