ESPN Analyst States The Oilers Have Found a Replacement For Evander Kane
Evander Kane suffered that gruesome injury where his hand got skated on and has been recovering since.
However, with uncertainty about his return and a club looking primed to push for a playoff spot in April, the team could set it's sights on a player that can help both, then and now.
Kevin Weekes believes replacing or at least having a player who plays similar to Kane would be a nice fit on the Oilers, and suggested the Oilers have found their new ''Kane'' type of player in Max Domi if they decide to make an offer.
«Well here's the thing, he (Domi) has impressed them, it's been a nice fit for them in Chicago so far,» said Weekes.«There's some thought that either he's going to do an extension, or to your point, a contending team, a buyer, may want his services. Perhaps Edmonton.»
While this is only a little kindle on the fire, it's hard to disagree that he would be a good fit.
