The Edmonton Oilers are looking to load up ahead of the NHL's trade deadline, now that they are back in the playoffs, the Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is looking at ways to improve their chances of going deep yet again.
One of the big names they have set their eye's on revealed by David Pagnotta of the fourth period is Chicago Blackhawks forward Max Domi. The 27 year-old signed a one year deal with the Blackhawks this past off-season and will likely be traded ahead March 3rd's NHL trade deadline, he holds a $3 million dollar salary that would perfectly fit into the Oilers plans.
Domi would make a great addition to the Oilers if indeed Holland can make the deal. Domi has 14 goals, and 20 assists for 34 Points in 47 games with the worst team in the NHL, and could fit anywhere in the Oilers line-up from playing in the top six with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl or bottom six, not to mention that grit Domi has he's built for playoff hockey.
