The Calgary Flames want to make things right for fans who bought the jersey of former player Dillon Dube before he was indicted in the World Juniors Scandal.

The 26 year old forward was one of the five NHL players named in the 2018 scandal that has led to all players being removed from the league as the legal proceedings continue. Dillon Dube has now signed a contract to continue his career with Dynamo Minsk of the KHL, as long as he's able to do so. It's a horrendous situation, and the Flames are doing right by their fans who no longer want to support the player.

A Flames fan shared a post to social media detailing the organization offering a substantial discount to replace a Dube jersey.

This is a fantastic gesture from the Flames organization to put money aside and make things right for a small amount of diehard fans who bought the jersey supporting a depth forward, only for it now to be a total embarrassment.

While Dube will be playing in the KHL later this season, he would only be granted that leave with recognizance that he will return to Canada to face the charges against him. A couple weeks ago, local news reported that the trial date for the Hockey Canada scandal has been set for September 8, 2025 in London, Ontario. Dillon Dube, Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Cal Foote, and Alex Formenton will be the defendants. Hopefully, justice is reached for this horrible incident.
