Jagr is famously still actually playing professional hockey. He owns the Kladno Knights of the Czech Pro League, and he still laces up for the team when they're in danger of being relegated to the league below. He's taking a couple weeks away from the Knights to return to where it all started in Pittsburgh for the ceremony tonight.
Penguins defenceman Kris Letang had some fun with the legend returning, wearing a mullet wig in practice in honour of Jagr's legendary hair.
Despite being a well known fan favourite for his longevity, his hair, and his awesome personality, some of the younger hockey fans don't appreciate Jagr as being one of the greatest players to ever play. He sits second in all time points behind only Wayne Gretzky, registering 766 goals and 1921 points in his career.
Still in great enough shape to joint the team for practice, all hockey fans will be interested to see Jagr get his honour from the Penguins - soon, he'll have to officially retire so he can finally be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
