Katie Gaudreau makes touching change to wedding to honour late brothers

Katie Gaudreau is making a touching change ti her wedding ring after the tragedy that took her two brothers, Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau.
Moments ago, Katie shared on her Instagram that she's engraved a small J + M on the back of her wedding ring, to forever keep her brothers with her.
This tragedy coming at a time that was supposed to be a family celebration is one of the most heartbreaking aspects of the loss. Katie Gaudreau and the rest of the family is devastated and publicly mourning, but they've also had an incredible attitude. In another recent Instagram post, Katie Gaudreau said she will still feel her brothers love when the wedding is finally held.
»My brothers loved Devin more than he will ever know. They were so excited for us to get married. When the day comes they are going to be dancing and celebrating more than anyone.»
The two Gaudreau brothers were fatally struck by a suspected drunk driver on the night of August 29th, a sudden and shocking loss that has impacted the entire hockey world. Calgary and Columbus both have held candlelight vigils to mourn the loss of the beloved star player and his brother. The vigils were an incredible display of emotion, and gave an opportunity for fans, players, and media to grieve together.
Johnny Gaudreau will always be remembered by hockey fans for his dazzling skill and speed, and inspiring many smaller kids that they can be elite players too. His youthful energy and attitude around the rink earned him the loving nickname of Johnny Hockey, perfectly capturing his casual superstardom. Our thoughts are with the Gaudreau family during this incredibly difficult time.
