NHL Coach Ejected and May Be Facing a Punishment After 'Verbally Abusing' an Official
Even though the San Jose Sharks had a 2-0 lead at one point last night, the Washington Capitals totally dominated them with a final score of8-3.
David Quinn, the team's head coach, as well as the Sharks players became more frustrated as more penalties were handed out. The Sharks' head coach was so upset that he communicated his frustrations to the referee in an"abusive" approach.
'F*ck you, f*ck you, you f*cking suck', which earned Quinn an ejection from the game.
You don't see coaches getting ejected from games very often, even on one of the third-worst teams in the NHL, but when you do, it shows that you have a genuine passion for your teamand will stay with it no matter what, but occasionally that enthusiasm isn't managed appropriately, as in this case.
He could be facing a punishment from the NHL, no word has been given yet.
