Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk wasted no time in taking a direct shot at Oilers fans after winning the Stanley Cup.

During his on-ice interview with Sportsnet Kyle Bukauskas, Tkachuk told him that he is only thinking of his family which includes Boston, family in Ontario and the Calgary Flames fans as he states he could not let the Oilers win the Cup.

"Shout out to my fans in Calgary. You know I couldn't let Edmonton win." - Matthew Tkachuk

This comment certainly will send anger amongst Oilers fans and certainly not surprising as Tkachuk isn't shy with his words and refers to the Battle of Alberta which he was a part of for several years.

The Oilers gave it they're all as they tried to climb back into this game which fell short. It was an incredible run an incredible series considering they were down three games to none and to take it back to a Game 7 but failing to accomplish the goal.

There will be many questions after this game on what the Oilers will do in the offseason for who will be the general manager if Ken Holland decides to retire too who will be on the ice as important contracts will need to be signed.
